Olympic Glass continue to invest in their Lisec integrated capacity planning software system, which allows a constant view on production progress especially when production is complex with multiple production steps and material routes.
Gary went on to say: "Firstly, we have updated the software operating platform to the very latest Lisec GPS system.
Secondly, due to our rapid growth of Conservatory Roof production we have installed a Shape Nesting Solution. This software tries 1000's of combinations per optimisation to get the very best result.
Thirdly, Lisec have developed software allowing us to streamline the transfer of shape data to our Automated Arrising machine, allowing the operator to change the orientation of the shape before feeding it into the machine.
Finaly, our inivitive software allows us to display the cutting pattern on the inlet and outlet of the toughening bed to enable fast and efficient loading of the toughener".
