Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Objective:
Working as part of a team you will ensure customer orders are delivered in a timely and effective manner in line with despatch daily load sheets whilst ensuring Quality of Good and Health and Safety procedures are maintained.  You are to ensure the Company is protected against litigation at all times in the Transport area, ie with the correct completion/use of Tachographs in accordance with Vosa rules, regulations and Company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness and compliance with VOSA.
  • Ensure security of load.
  • Collect and check all paperwork for daily deliveries.
  • Deliver goods to customers in accordance with Olympic Glass schedules in a timely manner and undamaged.
  • Collect Customer GRN’s ensuring paperwork is completed and return all damaged/incorrect units to Olympic Glass and pass on paperwork to Quality for inspection.
  • Wash and clean the Lorry.
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and business codes.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety and Quality policies and procedures.

  • Must hold full, clean, Class 2 UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
  • Must hold current CPC certification.
  • Must be 25 years old or over.
